Funding Eligibility
- Public schools and charter schools in Union County are eligible for funding.
- Projects for a small number of students are typically not funded.
- Art supplies that should be purchased by the school are not funded.
- Projects are allowed to cross departments and cross schools (ex: middle & high school in cluster).
- Funds must be expended in the 2024-2025 school year
Application Evaluation
Applications are reviewed by a volunteer panel, using the following criteria:
- Project is new, creative, unique to the school and is not a duplicate of other programs.
- Meets an artistic need in the school.
- Provides a hands-on or virtual, if needed, experience for students.
- Potential for project to broaden the school’s understanding of and appreciation for the art form and other cultural offerings.
- Project budget is clear & detailed.
- Application is for a complete project, not just a list of wanted supplies
