Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a public library.
- Library must serve a population of 50,000 or less.
- Grants will not be awarded two consecutive years.
- Library must serve the people of Texas.
- Library asking for a grant must be accredited by the Texas State Library.
- Grants will be awarded in the month of October. All funds must be spent in one year.
- A Final Report is due on or before one year from the date the grant is funded.
General Exclusions
Funding will not be considered for normal operating expenses, normal salaries or employee benefits. The Ladd and Katherine Hancher Library Foundation does not endorse or support any specific programs/products. Unscrupulous marketing practices by vendors are not tolerated.
