The CED Grant Program provides funding assistance to economic development programs and projects in Lane County that support business growth and investment as well as workforce training and business assistance services. The CED Grant Program aims to support the work of nonprofits and cities facilitate economic development efforts to attract and expand business investment, support small businesses, Main Streets, start-ups, and emerging entrepreneurs as well as assist with workforce training.
CED Grant Program Objectives
Priority will be given to programs or projects that address one or more of the following program objectives for Lane County Community and Economic Development:
- Increasing employment and/or wages in key targeted sectors including advanced manufacturing, healthcare, food and beverage manufacturing, biosciences, technology, and childcare
- Facilitating industry or business innovation, engagement or business development which may include supporting accelerators, incubators, or apprenticeship programs
- Providing business technical assistance, training or support services to entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small businesses
- Supporting or improving Lane County downtowns and Main Streets.
Funding Information
- This CED Grant Program funding opportunity has a total of $200,000 available for the 2026 grant cycle
- CED Grant funding requests should be a minimum of $5,000 and shall not exceed $30,000.
Eligibility Criteria
501(c)(3) nonprofits, incorporated cities serving Lane County, and any federally recognized tribe are eligible.
