Honda supports society in the areas of Education, Environment, Traffic Safety and Community by strategically collaborating with organizations and engaging the associates to drive sustainable change throughout the nation where we live and work.

Honda is currently accepting applications for program support in the pillar award categories listed below for the 2025-2026 funding cycle.

  • Honda Education Pillar Award
    • Corporate Award: Inspiring the Next Generation
    • Description: As Honda strives to cultivate a future-ready workforce, they are seeking opportunities to partner with organizations that provide education and workforce pipeline initiatives across a wide range of industry-relevant skills, including those focused on design, engineering, production, information technology (IT), and more. The overarching goal is to inspire the next generation, fostering a resilient and innovative workforce that will drive the future success and contribute to economic prosperity within the communities where they live and work.
    • Applications for programs related to a future-ready workforce may include but not limited to:
      • In-person, hands-on, or virtual science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and training programs
      • Experiential learnings, immersion programs and/or certifications
      • Workforce pipeline and/or pathway programs
      • Adult re-entry programs
  • Honda Environment Pillar Award
    • Corporate Award: Building a Sustainable Future
    • Description: Honda is taking bold action to achieve the global goal of zero environmental impact by 2050. Central to the Triple Action to Zero approach are the following three targeted areas: carbon neutrality, clean energy, and resource circularity. Through education, awareness, and infrastructure programs, they are seeking to support community organizations that are dedicated to fostering a healthy planet, which will play a crucial role in helping us achieve the mission of building a sustainable future for all.
    • Applications for education, awareness, and infrastructure programs may include but are not limited to:
      • Carbon Neutrality through decarbonization (e.g., energy efficiency and/or upgrades, reforestation/tree planting, and greenspace)
      • Clean Energy (e.g., onsite solar and/or wind installation)
      • Resource Circularity (e.g., recycling, repurposing, composting, food recovery, water reduction, and zero waste)
  • Honda Traffic Safety Pillar Award
    • Corporate Award: Safety for Everyone
    • Description: At Honda, they are committed to achieving zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050. To achieve this, they collaborate with organizations that share the human-centered safety approach. Through programs that promote safe driving practices, awareness, and education both on and off the road, they extend the support to bicycle, automobile, motorcycle, motorsport, and pedestrian safety. This commitment reflects the unwavering dedication to ensuring safety for everyone.
    • Applications for human-centered education, awareness, and infrastructure safety programs may include, but are not limited to:
      • Safety education and training (e.g., behind the wheel, train the trainer, safety installation and product distribution of items like car seats, helmets, or seatbelt cover/guards.)
      • Safety awareness (e.g., PSAs, community outreach, distracted driving, and impaired driving)
      • Safety infrastructure (e.g., repurposing railways/subway/spaces for pedestrian and/or alternate modes of transportation).
