Examples of the resources that Business Oregon will provide include:
- Presentations from other state partners such as the, U.S. Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Centers (“SBDC”), Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership (“OMEP”), Government Contract Assistance Program – Apex Accelerator, etc.;
- Supporting opportunities for Recipients to coordinate and share resources with other TA providers;
- Presentations from Oregon state agencies with relevant expertise such as Oregon Health Authority, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Construction Contractors Board, Bureau of Labor and Industries, Oregon Housing and Community Services, Oregon Department of Agriculture, etc.;
- Providing connections to other Business Oregon programs and staff, including the Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (“COBID”), Finance and lending programs, State Small Business Credit Initiative, Global Trade, etc.
Funding Information
The minimum award size is anticipated to be $100,000.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to receive an award under this RFGA, an applicant must be one of the following:
- Nonprofit organizations with active 501(c)(3) status
- Chambers of Commerce with active 501(c)(6) status
- Tribal Governments
- Economic Development Districts
- In addition to being an eligible entity type, in order to receive an award under this RFGA, an Applicant must:
- Be registered with the Oregon Secretary of State to do business in Oregon
- Be in operation and provide relevant technical assistance services for underrepresented small business for at least two years before the date that this RFGA is posted
- Provide services focused on small businesses (50 employees or less), including those in the trade sector.
