Each year, the Fellows participate in one of the three social action committees to work together in smaller groups on a long-term project, and ultimately learn the ins-and-outs of grant-making. After choosing a set of diversity-related community issues they would like to target, the committee members develop a Request For Proposal, review grant proposals, and ultimately decide together how to allocate up to $1,500 to the organization(s) of their choice.
