Geographical Limitations
To better serve the citizens of southeastern North Carolina, the Foundation’s geographical service area includes the following five counties: Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, Pender and New Hanover.
Eligibility Criteria
An organization may be eligible for a grant from the Foundation if it is qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and it is not a private, non-operating foundation (as defined by Section 509(a) of the Code), or if it is a public instrumentality involved in providing services to improve the general health and welfare of the community. Qualifying organizations must be located within an approximate 50-mile radius of Wilmington, North Carolina. Grants will not be made to individuals or to for-profit organizations.
