Whether turning vacant lots into community gardens, installing new art, activating alleyways or improving deteriorating spaces, Salt Lakers are making their neighborhoods, and Salt Lake City, a better place to live.
Love Your Block mini-grants support neighborhood improvement through funds and coaching to residents, businesses, and organizations. Selected projects aim to enhance deteriorating spaces, address neighborhood concerns, or boost local pride. Eligible neighborhoods include Glendale, Poplar Grove, Fairpark, Rosepark, Westpointe, Jordan Meadows, Guadalupe, and Ballpark.

Eligibility Criteria
- Project located in eligible neighborhood (Rose Park, Poplar Grove, Glendale, Jordan Meadows, Westpointe, Fairpark, Guadalupe, and Ballpark)
- Be led by resident, business or organization who resides within the eligible neighborhoods
- Host a community workday, where grantees engage volunteers from the local neighborhood to assist with implementing project
- Usage of funds must abide by Love Your Block Spending Guidelines
- Attend an orientation session.
