This grant is to provide funding to directly support community efforts to prevent, intervene, and reduce violence in the Bloomington Community.
Funding Information
This project will strive to invest $150,000 annually in evidence-based violence prevention projects offered by neighborhood based agencies and organizations in Bloomington.
Criteria
- This program, offered in partnership with City of Bloomington, IN – Community and Family Resources Department, supports violence prevention and reduction efforts in the community through investments in organizations, including nonprofits, neighborhood associations, resident councils and faith-based organizations.
- To receive funding, agencies must actively and regularly participate in Region 10 Coordinated Entry and the Regional Planning Council (South Central Housing Network) meetings and coordination.
