Throughout the years, the Junior League of Wilmington, NC has consistently created change by advancing efforts that directly benefit the community. The membership has used leadership skills and unique talents to assist organizations in their infancy and fund numerous projects.
This application introduces a new model of deeper, sustained partnership. Each League year, JLW will select 1–2 Community Partner Organizations to support comprehensively — aligning the fundraising, volunteer efforts, resource drives, and community education around your mission. Partnerships are evaluated annually and may be renewed for multiple years to create meaningful, lasting impact.
What a JLW Community Partnership Includes:
- Financial support for programmatic and training expenses
- Volunteer hours dedicated to your programs and events
- In-kind resource drives tailored to your needs (supplies, food, clothing, etc.)
- Community education campaigns raising awareness of your missionJLW member attendance at your fundraising events
- A dedicated Community Impact VP as your year-round liaison
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing
- Serve Brunswick, New Hanover, Onslow and/or Pender counties
- Focus on improving the well-being, safety, health, education or empowerment of women and/or children
