The purpose of the Greater Together Community Funds program is to:
- support the community in taking ownership around the needs in their towns
- encourage broad and inclusive civic engagement and
- anchor the Hartford Foundation in each town.
Hebron Greater Together Community Fund Objectives
- Improve the diverse participation and impact of current programs.
- Encourage the creation of innovative NEW initiatives for underserved populations.
- Develop enhancements to current programs.
- The HGTCF Committee invites projects connected to or in some way commemorating the 250th anniversary of the USA’s independence.
Funding Information
- Minimum grant: $500.
- Maximum grant: $7,500.
- Grants less than $1,000 – do not require matching $ donations.
- Grants over $1,000 – require matching $ donations of either monetary (cash) and/or in-kind donations of equipment, labor, materials, services, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
- Non-profit 501c3 organizations that serve the citizens of Hebron.
- Hebron individuals or groups of citizens may submit an application in partnership with a registered non-profit organization that has agreed to serve as the fiscal agent for the proposed project.
- Monies from previous grants awarded by The Hebron Greater Together Community Fund must be spent before a new grant can be awarded.
- Projects must primarily benefit Hebron citizens.
- Final Report for previous Grants must be completed.
- Grant awards must be spent within 1 year of the award date unless an extension is approved by The Hebron Greater Together Community Fund.
- Grantee must be willing to display information stating that HGTCF funded, in part, your project.
