- Artist, performer, and speaker fees (honoraria, contracts, stipends)
- Cultural, historical, and educational programming costs
- Exhibit or installation costs (temporary displays, interpretive materials)
- Curriculum or educational materials tied to events or workshops
- Licensing or usage rights for historically relevant content (images, music, scripts)
- Facilities & Venue Cost
- Venue rental fees (indoor or outdoor spaces)
- Permit fees required for public events
- Utilities or facility-related charges directly tied to the event
- Accessibility accommodations (ADA seating, ramps, assistive listening devices)
- Production and Technical Costs
- Audio/visual equipment rental (sound, lighting, projection)
- Staging, tents, tables, chairs, barricades
- Event production services
- Livestreaming or recording services (especially for public access and archiving)
- Supplies and Materials
- Program supplies and materials
- Decorations and signage (event-specific, non-permanent)
- Printed materials (programs, schedules, educational handouts)
- Safety supplies (crowd control materials, first-aid stations, PPE if applicable)
- Marketing, Outreach, and Public Engagement
- Administrative, Insurance, and Compliance Costs

Eligibility Criteria
Grants will fund events that take place in Louisville Metro (Jefferson County), Kentucky no later than June 30, 2026. Grantees must submit an activity report and a financial report in July 2026. The financial report must include expenditure and payment documents. Grants are open to 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) nonprofits.
