In 2026, the ABNY Foundation will provide funding within two priority areas:
- Economic Opportunity: Programs that focus on career training, prioritizing tangible skill or accreditation at program completion; and programs that support small businesses, entrepreneurships, and vibrant commercial districts.
- Civic Engagement: Initiatives that remove barriers to civic participation by increasing civic literacy and dialogue and cultivating the next generation of civic leaders.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a small or mid-size non-profit with 50 employees or less that provide direct services within the 5 boroughs of New York City.
- Grantees may only receive an award for a maximum of three consecutive years. Previous grantees with three consecutive awards must wait one-year before becoming eligible for a new grant award from the Foundation.
- Applying organizations must be designated under the 501(c) Section of the United States Internal Revenue Code or possess Fiscal Sponsorship from a registered 501(c)3 organization under the United States Internal Revenue Code. For profit organizations are not eligible for grants awards from The ABNY Foundation.
