The Giving Tree Grant Program, offered by the Arkansas Community Foundation, provides funding for a wide variety of community projects that serve either local needs or have the potential for broader statewide impact. This opportunity is available to eligible organizations in selected counties across Arkansas and one area in Texas.
Grants range in size depending on the region, with awards typically between $250 and $8,000. For example, Clark County applicants may receive between $250 and $2,000, while those in the Hot Springs Area could be awarded up to $8,000. The Texarkana Area, which includes Bowie County in Texas, offers grants from $1,500 to $2,500. Each county or region has its own funding range, making this a truly localized grant opportunity.
Applicants must serve one of the counties listed in the current grant cycle to be eligible. For regional or statewide organizations, the project proposed must directly impact the county where the grant is being requested. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) public charities, schools, hospitals, and government agencies working within the specified regions.
The program does not fund several types of requests, including annual fundraising campaigns, capital campaigns, political or religious-based projects, multi-year proposals, scholarships, or requests for salaries. Applications are due by August 15, 2025. Each proposal is evaluated individually based on merit and local impact.
