The Dementia Capability in Indian Country program is intended to support federally recognized tribes, tribal organizations and/or consortiums representing federally recognized tribes in these activities. The dementia-capable systems resulting from activities under this program are expected to provide high quality, strengths-based, person centered services and supports that help people living with dementia and their caregivers remain independent and safe in their communities.
There are two application options in this single NOFO:
- Option A: Grants to Tribes and Tribal Entities that are NEW to the ADPI program, and
- Option B: Grants to Tribes and Tribal Entities that have previously received ADPI grants and intend to expand on previously funded work.
Funding Information
- Estimated Total Program Funding: $2,000,000
- Option A (NEW): Award Ceiling: $250,000/Floor $200,000 per Budget Period
- Option B (Expansion): Award Ceiling: $300,000/Floor $250,000 per Budget Period.
Grant Period
36 months.
