Funding Programs
- Community Empowerment Fund
- This is AMF’s annual grant cycle since its inception in 2010, branded as the Community Empowerment Fund (CEF) in 2021.
- Family Services, Food Security, and Housing Displacement Support
- This is AMF’s 2024 special initiative grant providing funding to organizations currently doing work in family services, food security, and/or housing displacement support. Those programs and services are defined as:
- Family Services: community-based services that assist and support individuals in their roles as caregivers, including connecting families to child care and extracurricular activities, family enrichment, income support, health and mental health services, and more.
- Food Security: providing reliable access and availability to healthy, culturally appropriate food to households and/or addressing social inequities and barriers to food by food justice and sovereignty.
- Housing Displacement & Supports: community-based services that assist and support individuals who have been or are at risk of being displaced directly, indirectly, and/or culturally.
- This is AMF’s 2024 special initiative grant providing funding to organizations currently doing work in family services, food security, and/or housing displacement support. Those programs and services are defined as:
Eligibility Criteria
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit or is fiscally sponsored
- Majority Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI)-led and AAPI-serving
- Serve in Greater Philadelphia
- Operational budget ~$1 million or less
- AMF grantees who have NOT received an AMF CEF grant in the past three (3) years (2023, 2022, or 2021) will be considered for CEF funding.
- AMF 2023 FSFS grantee recipients are eligible to apply for the 2024 FSFSHD grant.
