The Charlottesville Area Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the Bama Works Fund. This fund supports nonprofit organizations, public schools, and government or religious entities aiming to improve life in the Charlottesville area and surrounding counties.
Organizations may request funding of up to $10,000 for projects that serve residents in the City of Charlottesville or the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange.
Eligible applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization, a government or religious entity, or have fiscal sponsorship through a 501(c)(3). Public schools are eligible to apply and may submit one application per funding cycle. The deadline to apply is August 29, 2025.
