The Bolger Foundation is currently accepting applications for its grant program, which supports charitable organizations across the United States. The foundation’s mission is to inspire individuals and empower nonprofits to better serve their communities and the world.
Grants are typically awarded for capital projects, including the construction or purchase of new facilities, building renovations, equipment, furnishings, and other one-time needs. The total project budget must be under $5 million to qualify.
Grant amounts range from $10,000 to $250,000. The foundation prioritizes initiatives that align with its core focus areas: conservation and preservation, support for the underprivileged and underserved, health and mental health, community initiatives, and education.
Eligible applicants must be U.S.-based nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and must be classified as public charities under Section 509(a)(1) or (2). Grants are not awarded to individuals, endowments, fundraising appeals, or organizations based outside the U.S.
The application deadline is September 1, 2025.
