The Charles D. Berry Foundation is now accepting applications for its grant program, open to organizations serving Greene, Miami, and Montgomery Counties in Ohio. The application deadline is August 19, 2025.
Grants may be requested for program or project support, operating support, or capital campaigns. The size and duration of the grant are not specified.
The Foundation focuses its funding on initiatives within the Greater Dayton Region. Priority areas include the arts (performing, visual, and educational programming), community enrichment (such as museums, parks, and public broadcasting), education from early childhood through post-secondary levels, and health and human services. Eligible health-related efforts may address disabilities, food insecurity, disease, poverty reduction, underserved populations, disaster relief, and animal welfare.
The Foundation does not consider requests from individuals, private foundations, or organizations without 501(c)(3) status. It also excludes funding for political or religious causes, school district projects, sports organizations, sponsorships, mass appeals, and any organization based outside the United States.
