The Community Empowerment Fund (CEF) awards grants in the amount of $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
- Majority Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI)-led and AAPI-serving
- Serve communities in the Greater Philadelphia area
- Operational budget of approximately $1 million or less
- AMF grantees who have not received an AMF CEF grant in the past two grant cycles (2023, 2024) are eligible for 2026 funding
- Recipients of AMF’s 2023 and 2024 special grants (FSFS and FSFSHD) are eligible to apply for the 2026 CEF grant cycle.
Ineligibility
- The following are not eligible to apply: individuals; religious organizations applying for religious purposes; political parties; organizations supporting specific candidates, political action committees, or any affiliated entities; government or municipal organizations; university student campus organizations; and entities operating as private businesses (e.g., LLCs) that enter into fiscal sponsorship solely for the purpose of eligibility.
- AMF grantees who have not received a Community Empowerment Fund (CEF) grant in the past two (2) grant cycles (2023 and 2024) are eligible to apply for 2026 funding. Recipients of AMF’s 2023 and 2024 special grants (FSFS and FSFSHD) are also eligible to apply for the 2026 CEF grant cycle.
