Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants for Marshfield Area Community Foundation community grants include nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations or other IRS-approved entities such as government agencies, school districts, and churches that serve the Marshfield area. Proposed projects should focus on community prioritie —such as education, arts and culture, recreation, environmental protection, healthcare, and social services—within the Foundation’s designated service area, which includes several local communities in and around Marshfield. The Foundation does not discriminate in grant making practices and requires applicants to use grant funds exclusively for charitable purposes.
Ineligibility
Marshfield Area Community Foundation Grants may not be used to fund:
- Annual Campaigns
- Debt Retirement
- Direct Support of Individuals (Organizations only)
- Lobbying, political campaigns or parties
- Routine Operating Expenses (i.e. salaries, utilities, benefits, postage, rent, etc.)
- Sectarian Causes
