The City of Bowie Community Outreach Committee awards reimbursable grants to individuals, groups, and organizations to assist in facilitating programs that benefit Bowie residents in a variety of ways. Project examples may include activities centered around diversity, education, physical health (e.g., exercise or healthy eating classes), programs for senior citizens or youth, and other community-centered initiatives.
Funding Information
A total of $20,000 in grant funding is available for the 2025-2026 cycle and will be awarded to selected applicants through a competitive selection process.

Eligibility Criteria
Individuals, groups, or organizations that will provide a program or project that will benefit residents of the City of Bowie may apply for the reimbursable grant. Applicants do not need to be City residents; however, programs must be conducted within the incorporated City of Bowie and must serve City residents.
