The program reflects the tournament’s ongoing commitment to giving back to communities across the Great Lakes Bay Region and has awarded more than $3 million to local nonprofits since its inception in 2019.
Nonprofits will be evaluated based on their impact in one or more of the following focus areas: science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education; skilled trades; sustainability; and thriving communities. Once selected, each of the 36 nonprofits will be randomly paired with one of the 72 teams competing in the 2026 Dow Championship, an official LPGA Tour event.
Funding Information
Grant funding will be distributed through this program, with each selected nonprofit guaranteed to receive a $4,500 grant.
Criteria
All 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations located within the Great Lakes Bay Region are eligible to apply for the #TeamUp grant program. Seven organizations will be selected from each of the region’s counties—Saginaw, Bay, Midland, and Isabella—with eight additional nonprofits selected based on their work serving multiple or all four counties.
