Delta Dental of Kentucky’s core purpose is the advancement of oral health care for Kentuckians through the dental benefits programs and philanthropic efforts. In keeping with the corporate mission, they give preference to organizations and initiatives that focus on the improvement of oral health.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be considered for grant funding, your organization must meet the following criteria.
- The organization must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (or working for community benefits).
- Applicants must service or benefit individuals and communities within the state of Kentucky.
- The proposal clearly advances oral health care in Kentucky.
Ineligibility
The following organizations are specifically excluded from receiving grant funding:
- Individuals, including individual persons seeking financial assistance.
- Organizations that discriminate by race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or national origin.
- Political activities, organizations, or campaigns.
- Loans
- Projects developed for commercial or proprietary purposes
- Past grantees that have failed to provide charitable contribution surveys or other requested documentation.
