The purpose of the fund is to improve the quality of life for people in Algiers and St. Bernard Parish. An advisory committee of business and civic leaders meets annually to review grant requests across all program areas within the designated regions.

Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations that serve Algiers and St. Bernard Parish are eligible to apply for funding. Organizations that are not tax-exempt but have a fiscal agent relationship with a 501(c)(3) organization are also eligible.
