Eligible expenses include artist fees, marketing, materials, travel, professional services, space rental, and accessibility accommodations. Costs for equipment under $10,000 per unit, printing, shipping, and rentals like stages and lighting are also reimbursable.
Projects can include events, exhibitions, festivals, performances, or workshops, and may be part of a larger initiative if the funded phase falls within the grant period. Annual events or series must present new content to qualify. Public art projects must show strong community engagement.
Eligible applicants include Iowa-based artists aged 18 or older, nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, schools, and government entities located in Iowa. The application deadline is September 23, 2025, and grants range from $10,000 to $100,000, depending on the scope and applicant type.
