The Sioux Falls Arts Council has launched a new Artist Micro Grants Program to support local creatives. This initiative is made possible through funding from the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation and is aimed at helping artists continue and grow their work.
The program offers micro grants of $250 or $500 to artists from all disciplines. These small but impactful funds can be used flexibly — whether for purchasing art materials, paying for a class, or covering personal expenses that allow the artist to focus more fully on their creative practice.
The grants are open to artists living in or around Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The deadline to apply is August 2, 2025. The program welcomes a wide range of creative disciplines and seeks to make support more accessible to the local arts community. Grant duration is not specified.
