The BIG Idea Grant will provide up to $25,000 in grant funding to support an idea, initiative or project that benefits the River Falls community.
The BIG Idea Grant are intentionally vague to encourage creativity. The selection committee considers whether the project enhances quality of life in the area, strengthens community connections, leaves a lasting impact, or builds community pride. A winning idea could make life more enjoyable for residents and visitors, address environmental concerns, help underserved citizens, attract visitors, or engage residents.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a government entity, tribal entity, or educational organization defined as tax exempt, or partner with an eligible fiscal agent.
- Service Area – Lakeland, Lakeland Shores, Lake St. Croix Beach, St. Mary’s Point and Afton.
