This program is one way Apex continues to partner with Vermillion County, responding to community needs, supporting local organizations, and investing in projects that make a real difference.
Grants are awarded to local programs and organizations targeting one or more of four key areas:
- Safe and Healthy Communities
- Supporting first responders, public health, good government, open communication, citizen resources, and overall quality of life.
- Economic Development
- Encouraging entrepreneurship and serving as a catalyst for economic opportunity and growth.
- Environmental Sustainability
- Advancing environmental revitalization, sustainability, and education, empowering residents to be stewards of the environment.
- Education
- Supporting local schools, advancing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs, and fostering future leaders.
Funding Information
The Brouilletts Creek Solar Community Grant Program will award amounts from $500 to $5,000.
Application Requirements
All requests should include the following, which can also be found on the Brouilletts Creek Solar Community Grant Application:
- The organization’s name, address, phone number, email, and contact person responsible for the request
- A brief description of the organization or program’s mission and history
- Program or event details, including description, goals, and expected community impacts
- Amount of support being requested and total budget for the project
- Opportunities for Brouilletts Creek Solar employee volunteerism
- Proof of qualifying non-profit status, including a tax-exempt determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service
- Permission to publicize any donation at Brouilletts Creek Solar’s sole discretion as long as recipient is given the opportunity to review and provide comment prior to any publication.
