Funding Information
- The BEAP Grant is a competitive, reimbursement-based program.
- The EDA has approximately $100,000 available for the grant program.
- Awards can be made for up to 50% of equipment costs, capped at $20,000.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to qualify for an award, a business must:
- Employ at least two (2) full-time employees (or full-time equivalents) at a physical location in Roanoke County or the Town of Vinton
- Have operated as a for-profit business for at least one year in Roanoke County or the Town of Vinton
- Hold a current business license from Roanoke County or the Town of Vinton
- Be in good standing with all local ordinances, local taxes, fees, and assessments, business license and other applicable requirements.
