Focus Areas
Submitted requests should fulfill Hand to Hand’s mission and include one or more of these focus areas:
- Education and job training for women;
- Programs for women re-entering the work force;
- Mentoring programs for women and/or girls;
- Health and wellness programs for women and/or girls.
Funding Information
Hand to Hand will accept proposals within a range of $5,000 to $15,000.
Grant Period
Grants are made for one year.
Eligibility Criteria
Grant applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grants will be awarded only to organizations with their own 501(c) (3) public charity. The organizations cannot be fiscally sponsored by any other charity.
- 501(c)(3) organization should be in existence for at least two years.
- Programs and services must align with Hand to Hand’s mission in one or more focus areas.
- The organization must be willing to host a scheduled site visit for evaluation of the proposal.
