The Sundt Foundation is 50-percent funded by contributions from Sundt employee-owners. Every dollar is matched by the company and then distributed through quarterly grants to qualified 501c3 nonprofits in the twelve giving communities: Tempe/Phoenix, Tucson, El Paso, North Texas, Central Texas, Sacramento, Irvine, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Charlotte, Florida and the Pacific Northwest. Local committees of employee-owners decide which organizations to fund in each of the giving areas, ensuring they support causes they feel most passionate about. The Foundation considers a broad range of social issues but gives special focus to youth development, military & veterans, hunger & nutrition, and other basic needs.
Funding Information
Foundation request range is from $2,500 – $25,000, although the average grant amount awarded by the committees is $5,000.
Grant Period
Nonprofit organizations can receive funding every 12 months.

The Sundt Foundation is nonprofit organizations in the areas where the employee-owners live and work. They operate under a regional model and provide grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofits organizations located in: Southwest (Arizona); South (Texas, New Mexico), West (California); Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington); Intermountain (Utah, Idaho); Southeast (Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas).
