ADF&G anticipates having up to $9 million available; the final amount will not be known until after the CFP opens. Funding will be allocated by NOAA between the following three project categories:
- Habitat conservation or restoration in areas utilized by subsistence stocks ($3.2 million anticipated)
- Habitat conservation, restoration, or resiliency assessment in areas that may or may not be utilized by subsistence stocks ($3.6 million anticipated)
- Monitoring and assessment of salmon populations utilized for subsistence ($2.2 million anticipated)

Eligibility Criteria
All types of entities (including nonprofit organizations, universities, government organizations, tribal organizations, commercial organizations, and individuals) are welcome to apply. All applicants must have a federal universal entity identifier (UEI). Eligible entities must not be debarred or suspended from participation in federal assistance programs. Federal agencies must have the authority to receive federal funds through the PCSRF (each federal applicant must submit the AKSSF Federal Authority Form documenting the authorizing U.S. Code with its application).
