Historic Education Preservation Grant programs may come in a variety of formats—workshops, presentations, booklets, brochures, reading/discussion programs, exhibitions, film documentaries and more—and they’re increasingly interested in supporting digital projects, such as online exhibits, webinars and podcasts, that expand outreach and educate even more people about the value of historic preservation.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a Historic Preservation Education Grant, you must apply on behalf of a tax-exempt organization that’s registered with the Internal Revenue Service; K-12 schools, colleges and universities, public libraries, churches, and government entities are also eligible. They will not award Historic Preservation Education Grants to individuals, nonregistered entities, or for-profit entities.
