The New York State Council on Developmental Disabilities (CDD) is seeking to fund one grantee in the amount of up to $200,000 per year for two years ($400,000 total) to develop a web-based mental health literacy online curriculum, and associated print guide, to build capacity among practitioners, family members, and people with IDD who have co-occurring mental health challenges.

Content should include, but is not limited to, understanding mental health literacy, mental health within respective disability populations, mental health symptoms, substance abuse, effective self-help strategies for mild-to-moderate mental health challenges, navigating crises, resources, etc. This guide will be translated in various languages and readily accessible for people to build their own capacity through a self-paced series. Any grant products and resources should also include links and avenues for referrals to local assistance and mental health providers.
Grant Period
The contract awarded in response to this RFP will be for 2 years with an anticipated start date of Oct 1, 2025 and an end date of Sept 30, 2027.

- Nonprofit organizations (note: the lead applicant cannot be a for-profit organization; however, for-profit organizations may serve as subcontractors to the lead applicant)
