Champions For Learning’s Classroom Grants Program offers a competitive funding opportunity for teachers in Collier County, Florida. This grant supports classroom or school projects that fall outside the regular school budget, helping educators bring innovative ideas to life.
Teachers can apply for grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 per request, with a maximum of four requests considered annually, totaling up to $2,000 per teacher. Additional applications beyond this limit may be shared on the Find It Fund It portal for community funding. Each grant request must be approved by the teacher’s principal before submission.
Eligible projects include classroom supplies, equipment not covered by school budgets, local field trips, enrichment activities, and school-wide initiatives that inspire student engagement. However, costs like professional conference fees, out-of-county trips, capital expenses (such as furniture and technology), food, and gift cards are typically excluded.
Any teacher working in a Florida Department of Education-recognized K-12 school in Collier County can apply. This includes educators from traditional public schools, charter schools, and private or independent schools. Eligible applicants include classroom teachers, Related Arts teachers, school counselors, academic coaches, teachers on special assignments, and Curriculum Coordinators.
