There will be two types of grants available:
- Collateral Materials
- The Collateral Materials Grant is intended to assist organizations in Citrus County by providing grant money to make area more appealing to visitors who are spending the night in Citrus County. This grant leverages the TDC’s resources and extends marketing for Citrus County. Applicants can apply to receive a maximum of $1,500.
- Special Projects/Events
- The Special Event Marketing Grant is intended to provide funding to advertise and promote events to out-of-county markets to attract overnight visitors. The grant funds are meant to supplement the grantee’s budget and are restricted in their use for marketing, advertisement, and promotional materials. Applicants can apply to receive a minimum of $750 to a maximum of $7,500 for special project/events.
- All grants require a dollar-for-dollar cash match, with the exception of the $750 award.
