The City of Bothell is inviting applications for its Creative Arts Grant Program, aimed at supporting individual artists and cultural arts organizations. This program is designed to fund innovative projects that celebrate cultural diversity, foster community through the arts, and ignite creativity. The City of Bothell, located in Washington, is committed to becoming a vibrant and inclusive community, with the Bothell Arts Commission playing a pivotal role in connecting, supporting, and inspiring the community through arts and culture.
The grant program is guided by the Cultural Plan, which was adopted by the Bothell City Council in 2020. All funded projects are required to include a culminating event or presentation that serves both the residents and visitors of Bothell. Grants range from $500 to $10,000, and the program welcomes proposals that contribute to Bothell’s cultural and artistic landscape.
Eligibility is open to cultural arts organizations, with a scoring preference given to individual artists and organizations based in Snohomish County. Additionally, cultural arts organizations based in King County are encouraged to explore other funding opportunities available through the Doors Open initiative, in partnership with 4Culture. Applications for the grant program are due by August 4, 2025.
