The City may reimburse for the approved purchase of a tree. Trees purchased before the approval date will not be eligible for reimbursement. Applications are only valid for the year that they were approved. Residence who are replacing a tree on their property will have priority. Rebate is limited to one per year, per household.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must complete the application and submit the approved application with the reimbursement request form.
- Qualifying trees must be planted at the City of Evans address listed on your application.
- The rebate is applicable only towards the cost of the tree and may not cover any other cost associated with the tree purchase.
- Must be a current City of Evans resident and have no outstanding fees, fines or violations with the City.
- Resident will call 811 Notification Center of Colorado for locates prior to digging.
- Resident will plant tree in accordance with the Evan Municipal Code and meet all tree spacing requirements. Please consider the dimensions at tree mature height.
- Resident accepts all responsibility for the planting, maintenance and care for the tree.
- Tree must be one of the approved trees from the approved species list.
- Deciduous Ornamental trees must be 1.5-inch caliper or greater.
- Deciduous Shade trees must be 2.0-inch caliper or greater.
- Evergreens must be at least 6 feet tall.
- Excluding ash trees and trees with an expected mature height of less than 12 feet.
