Neighborhood organizations and nonprofits located in Norfolk, Virginia are eligible to apply. The maximum grant award is $2,500, with funding intended to help nonprofits or civic leagues implement creative and sustainable rain retention solutions.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, Norfolk civic leagues, or neighborhood associations recognized as legal nonprofit entities. Businesses, schools, and churches may also apply if they partner with a nonprofit organization.
Applicants must provide documentation confirming their nonprofit status. Additionally, grantees are required to host a volunteer event or conduct a community outreach activity before the grant closes. A completed W-9 form is also necessary for those selected to receive funding.
