The City of Peoria’s Homeowners Association Grants program supports HOAs with projects that engage, revitalize, and enhance community safety. This initiative is designed to help neighborhoods come together and improve the quality of life for residents.
The Community Assistance division of Peoria provides guidance and funding for neighborhood-based projects that foster a sense of community and build a positive identity. Residents who are active partners in their neighborhoods and eager to make improvements are encouraged to apply.
Funding is available up to $15,000 for projects that promote neighborhood engagement, safety, revitalization, and water conservation. Preference is given to projects that incorporate sustainable practices.
Eligible projects include walking paths, fitness parks, ADA improvements, gazebos, shade structures, solar lighting, barbeques, memorials, drinking fountains, benches, added lighting, community gardens or mini libraries, kiosks, entryway signage, playground equipment, security items, dog parks and waste stations, as well as water conservation efforts.
The deadline to apply is August 18, 2025.
