The City of Rio Rancho Financial Services Department, HUD/CDBG Grant Administration Office hereby requests proposals from public or private not-for-profit organizations to carry out activities to develop healthy communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment and expand economic opportunity, principally for persons of low to moderate income.
Approximately $490,000.00 will be available for eligible activities meeting one of three National Objectives, including: benefits to the low-and-moderate income persons, aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight, or to meet other community development needs having a particular urgency because existing conditions pose a serious or immediate threat to the health or welfare of the community and where other financial resources are not available to meet such needs.
