For the purposes of this NOFA, eligible public facilities and activities shall include improvement and rehabilitation of:
- Homeless shelters
- Centers for seniors, persons with disabilities and/or youth
- Community and workforce development centers
- Healthcare centers
- Neighborhood parks
- Any other facility that is either designed and dedicated to use by the public generally.
Funding Information
A total of $300,000 is available for Public Facilities Projects under this NOFA.
Grant Period
The grant period for funding is October 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- Governmental entity or a nonprofit organization established by the IRS as a 501(c) 3 organization.
- Applicant entity must be in existence for at least five (5) years.
- Applicant must have at least five (5) years of experience in providing the requested service prior to submission of application.
- Applicant must have at least five (5) years of demonstrated experience providing the service outlined in their proposal.
- The City will not fund an organization or agency with outstanding disallowed costs, defaulted loans, debarment actions or any other legal encumbrance, regardless of the merits of the submitted proposal.
- Awards will not be granted if there are open contracts, or a funded project has not been successfully completed by the applicant organization.
