The City of Tualatin is now accepting applications for its Outside Agencies Grant Program. This grant provides financial support to charitable nonprofit agencies that align with the City Council’s 2030 Vision.
The vision emphasizes creating an inclusive community that promotes equity, diversity, and access, ensuring a meaningful quality of life for all. It also focuses on building a connected, informed, and civically engaged community that embraces diversity.
A thriving and diversified economy is a key goal, aiming to include living wage jobs, increased tourism, and sustained financial stability. The city also values safe, vibrant, and accessible gathering places that celebrate the whole community.
An efficient, accessible, and sustainable transportation system that meets the needs of the community is another priority. Safe and welcoming neighborhoods with housing for all are essential, along with an environmentally responsible community that protects natural resources and habitats.
The total funding for fiscal year 2025-26 is $50,000, to be shared among multiple agencies. Typically, grants have not exceeded $5,000 per agency.
Eligible applicants must be charitable 501(c)(3) organizations serving members of the Tualatin community, including residents, workers, students, or others who live, work, play, or learn in the city.
Applicants must comply with the City’s Non-Discrimination Policies, ensuring that facilities and projects are accessible to people with disabilities and that no one is excluded or discriminated against based on race, color, national origin, language proficiency, sex, disability, income, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
