Applicant organizations must submit proposals relevant to one of the Mayor and Council program areas listed below.
Relief for Families, Essential and Frontline Workers, and Small Businesses
- Small and Legacy Businesses Revolving Micro-Loan Program
- Small Business Programs
- Energy Retrofits for Homes and Businesses
Community Reinvestment and Recovery – Parks, Arts & Culture
- Community Health and Safety Programming
- Support for Arts and Culture
Workforce & Youth Development
- Workforce Development and Skill Building
- Youth Programming
- Transitional Workforce Development (Veterans, Youth)
Promoting Affordable and Stable Housing
- Small-Scale Senior/Youth Housing
- Housing Resource Connection Program/Wraparound Services
- Manufactured Housing Rehabilitation/Replacement
Funding Information
- A funding request minimum of $10,000 will be required to be considered for awarding of a contract.
- Round 3 funding will be effective Nov. 1, 2024-June 30, 2026.
Requirements
The proposed program should include services that support one or more of the following goals:
- Transformative, strategic investments aimed at relief and a resilient recovery for all
- Invest funds with an eye toward long-term investments to address long-standing inequities
- Data-driven and evidence-based investments should create the backbone of Tucson’s relief and recovery investments
- Strategic partnerships with Pima County and Pima County School Districts to expand services to the community
- Partner with grassroots networks to connect with hard-to-reach communities or,
- New solutions and ideas as well as replicating or expanding proven success models
Eligibility Criteria
Not-for-profit organizations and regular businesses are eligible for funding if the organization:
- Is active and in good standing with the federal government
- Applying organizations must provide their DUNS or Unique Entity ID issued through SAM.gov.
- Is in possession of a current City of Tucson Business License with an address where the services will be provided
