The Vernon CommUNITY Fund (VCF) and Vernon City Council are dedicated to enriching the local community.
VCF will provide general operating and project funding to organizations to help support programs which promote community advancement through youth development, education, workforce training, and addressing food insecurity.

- To encourage and inspire positive social development in Vernon and neighboring communities;

General grants are provided to organizations located in the area served by the VCF, or whose services directly benefit residents in the Vernon Area (which includes the cities of Bell, Commerce, Huntington Park, Maywood, Vernon, and the areas known as East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights).
