Funding Information
- Standard Application: Up to $500,000 likely maximum per awarded applicant, per round
- Rolling Application: Up to $50,000 maximum per awarded application. Only available for qualifying entities.
Eligible Projects
- Awarded funding can cover costs directly associated with the purchase and installation of EV charging equipment and infrastructure to support light-, medium-, and heavy-duty electric fleet vehicles and equipment. Funding can also cover costs associated with the minimum one-year warranty and five year networking coverage requirements for all awarded EV charging stations
- Costs must be spent and work must be completed during the term of an executed grant agreement with the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) to be eligible for funding.
Eligibility Criteria
Fleet-ZERO offers grants to the following applicants requesting funding to own and operate EV chargers for fleet use:
- Businesses and industry
- Fleet charging providers
- Government and public institutions
- Independent contractors
- Non-profit organizations
- Schools (including charging for electric school buses)
- Transit agencies (only for charging fleet vehicles other than transit vehicles)
- Tribal Governments and Entities.
