Impact Fund grants are restricted to funding programs and projects that address the behavioral health needs of Larimer County community members. The Impact Fund Grant Program distributes about $2.8 million annually, to behavioral health projects and programs serving Larimer County, through two types of grants:
- Targeted Grants
- Targeted Grants are designed to address gaps in behavioral health care and have a concentrated focus.
- Responsive Grants
- Responsive Grants are available to organizations that work to support the behavioral health of community members. Their work aligns with the funding priorities but does not fall into a targeted area.
Funding Information
To qualify for the minimum grant funding tiers listed below, applicants will need to demonstrate an annual revenue of at least $100,000. BHS does not fund more than 25% of an organization’s annual operating income/revenue.
- Applicant’s Annual Revenue: $100,000 or greater – Amount Eligible For: $25,000 award.
- Applicant’s Annual Revenue: $200,000 or greater – Amount Eligible For: $50,000 award.
- Applicant’s Annual Revenue: $300,000 or greater – Amount Eligible For: $75,000 award.
- Applicant’s Annual Revenue: $400,000 or greater – Amount Eligible For: $100,000 award.
Eligibility Criteria
BHS is open to a variety of organization types and may submit a request for program or project support. To be considered for funding, organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Have an EIN and be in good standing with the IRS and Colorado Secretary of State
- Organizations are based in the U.S. with a valid Tax ID # and U.S. bank account
- Organizations must be doing business for at least one year and meet the financial reporting and insurance requirements.
- Demonstrate sufficient organizational capacity to provide the proposed services to Larimer County residents
- Provide services without regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, ancestry, marital status, disability, or any other protected class.
