The Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) is now accepting applications for the 2025–2026 Community Assistance Fund (CAF) grants. These grants support nonprofit organizations working to improve the wellbeing of women in the Greater New Orleans area.
Funding ranges from $10,000 to $100,000, though other information mentions grants between $5,000 and $20,000. The deadline to apply is August 1, 2025. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits based in or serving the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan area. They should not have received JLNO funding in the past 12 months and must submit a complete application by the deadline.
Applicants must request funding for specific programs or projects that support one or more JLNO focus areas: economic opportunity for women, improving physical and mental health, or providing family assistance to women caregivers.
Certain expenses are not eligible for funding, including salaries, marketing, travel, and overhead costs. JLNO will not fund organizations outside the metro area unless the request directly serves residents there. They also exclude requests for event sponsorships, religious or political activities, fundraising donations, capital campaigns, and projects currently funded by JLNO.
