One objective of any DCED funded programs is in the knowledge that low-income persons are indeed benefiting from the investment of CDBG resources.
Federal regulations require that all projects meet one of three national objectives:
- Benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons;
- Aid in the elimination of slums and blight; or
- Meet community needs having a particular urgency because existing conditions pose an immediate threat to public health or welfare.
Project Period
The effective dates for all projects are October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants are:
- The 37 boroughs and townships including the City of Easton participating in Northampton County’s Urban County CDBG Entitlement Program.
- 501(c) (3) non-profit organizations providing services to residents of the participating municipalities.
